Śomi Śniegocka - performerka, poetka, rysowniczka, autorka onirycznych tekstów. Od 2014 roku wykonuje spacery – performensy 1:1 (dreaming walks), bazując na swoim doświadczeniu z dzieciństwa, jakim było lunatykowanie .
Stypendystka AAT 2018 Art Station Foundation, Kultury Polskiej na świecie oraz Instytutu Deep Listening Pauline Oliveros. W latach 2017/2018 współprowadziła dom artystyczny Kraków Art House, a w latach 2021/ 2023 audycję Piosenki Snu w Radiu Klang. Z performensem „Kobieta Sarna” występowała m.in. w Movement Research w Nowym Jorku, w Ośrodku Dokumentacji Sztuki Tadeusza Kantora Cricoteca podczas festiwali Polifonie, AudioArt, czy w licznych hipisowskich miejscach w Meksyku, w którym spędziła kilka magicznych miesięcy swojego życia. Zarówno w spacerowaniu, jak i w pisaniu czy rysowaniu jawnie faworyzuje sny, a poprzez praktyki pracy z ciałem i głębokim słuchaniem stara się ciągle dotykać tej cienkiej granicy snu i jawy, uwrażliwiać się na nią, przekraczać i przepuszczać przez siebie.
Absolwentka wydziału Intermediów na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie, gdzie przygotowała audio - wizualny performens / słuchowisko w pracowni Audiosfery , zainspirowany obrazem surrealistki Remedios Varo „Stworzenie Ptaków” i ptasim mitem malarza Maxa Ernsta. Od października 2024 wykładowczyni w Instytucie Sztuki i Designu Uniwersytetu Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie. Aktualnie również uczestniczka programu dla artystów sztuk performatywnych Pacap8/ Mystery School of Choreography w Lizbonie, gdzie fascynacja metafizyką będzie przeplatać się z kompozycją, choreografią i tworzeniem sztuki.

She is a performer, cartoonist, and author of dreamlike texts and short stories. Drawing from her practice in movement, sound, poetry, and her childhood experience with sleepwalking, she created Dreaming Walks—a series of one-on-one performances that she has been presenting since 2014. Through these walks, she encounters the unknown in the places she explores.
Her work includes the piece Roe Deer Woman, which she showcased at Movement Research in New York City (2016). Between 2017 and 2018, she co-ran the queer art space Kraków Art House, and also collaborated with the Alternative Academy of Dance at Art Station Foundation (2018). She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where she studied in the Intermedia Department at the Audiosphere studio. Her diploma project was an audio-visual performance inspired by the painting The Creation of Birds by surrealist Remedios Varo and the bird myth depicted by surrealist painter Max Ernst. Since October 2024, she has been a lecturer at the Institute of Art and Design at UKEN University in Krakow.
For many years through her teacher Nora Hajos she has also practiced Logomotion ( Simon Forti' method)—a unique exploration of language and movement that intertwines verbal and physical expression. Through this practice, she delves deeper into the connections between words, sound, body and our subcouncious sources.
Through her exploration of walking, writing, drawing, and listening, she continuously seeks to engage with and transcend the delicate boundary between dreams and wakefulness. A particular focus of her practice is deep listening in dreams, where she explores the subtle auditory landscapes that emerge in the dream state. She aims to become more attuned to this liminal space, allowing it to pass through her, and to embody and transform it through the power of imagination. Currently, she is participating in the Pacap8/Mystery School of Choreography program in Lisbon, where her fascination with metaphysics is interwoven with composition, choreography, and the creation of art.
